As Founder + Director of Law Squared, it is a mission that remains his true-north, guiding Law Squared to become a true alternative to traditional law firms. Today, with offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and London and Auckland, Law Squared is trusted by ASX-listed entities, fast scaling business and multinational clients, to bridge the gap between legal expertise and commercial impact, and provide dual jurisdictional support in Australia and the United Kingdom.

An accomplished entrepreneur and lawyer, Demetrio has worked with large listed, SMEs, not-for-profits and venture capital funds. By focusing on outcomes and culture, and dispensing with time-based performance metrics and hierarchy, Demetrio has not only led Law Squared’s extraordinary growth trajectory but is recognised globally as the architect of a wholly new approach to legal engagement – Human Centred Law.

Demetrio continues to play a hands-on role in client management and has extensive experience in board governance, strategic advisory and business advisory work, supporting many Chairs, CEO’s and General Counsel’s across the Law Squared client base. Demetrio has received numerous awards and recognitions for the growth, innovation and impact Law Squared has achieved since the firm’s launch in 2016.

Outside of law and entrepreneurship, Demetrio plays an active part in the not-for-profit community and is currently Chair of the Board of the Victorian Deaf Society Ltd (Expression Australia) and Director of The Pride Fund Ltd. Demetrio also plays an active role as Director of Zema Estate a wine and agricultural business located in Coonawarra, South Australia.
